Exam 2 will take place on Wednesday, March 5

 

Material Covered:

The exam will cover material from the previous course (Math 98), and from in-class discussions. These topics are listed on the Course Outline published on the  class’s web site.

Chapter 1 – all

Chapter 2 – 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, (linear equations) 2.7 (linear inequalities)

Chapter 3 – 3.1, 3.2, and 3.3

Chapter 4 – all

Chapter 5 – 5.1, 5.2, (exponents) 5.5, 5.6 (polynomials)

Chapter 6 – 6.1 (factoring out the GCF or -1) 6.5 (difference of squares theorem), 6.7 (zero product rule)

Chapter 7 –7.1, 7.2, 7.3, 7.4, and 7.6

Chapter 8 – 8.2

Chapter 11 – 11.1, 11.3, 11.4, 11.5, 11.6
